This beautiful traditional house is situated in the village of San Vito, one of three villages that form the heart of the south-east coast of Sardinia knows as Sarrabus.
The area, well-known to Italian holiday makers for decades, has only recently come to the attention of the foreign market, leaving the area unspoiled and well-preserved in its traditions and architectural features.
The house matches well the area, having being restored by its present owner to its original features, using local materials and leaving the typical "campidanese" shape developing around the patio area which gives access to all parts of the house.
The front door gives acces to the patio from which the following areas can be accessed:
- lounge with log fire place, and open plan kitchen. From the lounge a wooden staircase leads up to a double bedroom with wooden floor. From the kitchen a door leads to a utility area and a bathroom with bathtub.

- en-suite double bedroom situated on the first floor
- terrace situated on the first floor with BBQ area
The two en-suite bedrooms enjoy air conditioning. Hot water is provided by the gas boiler and there are water supplies in the patio for a shower and an outdoor basin to be fitted. 
The house is in the centre of the town where supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers, a chemist, a bank, restaurants, take-away pizzerias, bars, newsagents, a post office and all major amenities can be found within walking distance. Its central position, together with the two en-suite bedrooms with independent access from the courtyard, make this an ideal property for a B&B.
The area is well know for the beautiful sandy beaches as well as water sports, horse riding, trekking, cycling routes and archeological sites. The beaches are only 10-15 minutes away by car, and only 20 minutes from the famous, award-winning beaches of the Costa Rei (the King’s Coast).  San Vito is close enough to these beaches but at the same time far enough away that one can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the quiet village. This is in contrast to the other two villages - Muravera and Villaputzu - which can be noisy and overcrowded in the summer months.  The property enjoys a peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac, with no through traffic. A perfect location to get away from busy, city life. The clear skies at night are a dream for any budding astronomists and the terrace and upstairs bedroom have some fine views of the surrounding mountains.  San Vito is only one hour drive away from Cagliari, which is a European city of culture candidate for 2019 (http://www.cagliari-sardegna2019.eu/en/cagliari2019/what-is-a-capital-of-culture/).  It is the oldest inhabited city of Southern Europe and it represents a focal point for all the island’s business and culture. The main airport is located just outside Cagliari, at Elmas, and is only 1 hour drive from San Vito. From Cagliari airport you can find daily flights during the summer to most major European cities, e.g. London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin and so on. It is also possible to fly to Olbia in the north east of Sardinia and to Alghero in the north west. Both are around 2 hours drive from San Vito.
